With the stress of the move, money, trying to get our house rented, etc we have been a little on the stressed side. So, yesterday we dropped Keira off at the boat with my parents and Jeremy and I went on a date! We rode go carts and went to Main Street St. Charles where we walked around holding hands, ate some really good cheese and crackers and split a bottle of wine. It was so nice to actually be nice to each other, laugh and talk about something other than diapers and bottles. It was just what we needed.
Keira had a great time on the boat. Grandma Scott said they had a lot of deep conversations, watched other boats go by, ate lots of food (well lots for Keira) and took a nap. What a fun day. She was so tired by the time I went to get her, she didnt even cry when I put her to bed. Usually she rolls around for a while trying to stay awake so she doesnt miss anything but last night she just layed in bed with her fingers in her mouth and watched her puppy dogs on her mobile. She is such a sweet little girl.
I'm glad you were able to get that day. Steve and I have to take a time out from the craziness every so often too. It really is rewarding in the end.
